Zhejiang has adopted ecologically integrated coastal zone development and beautiful bay conservation as frameworks, actively exploring a land-sea coordinated, systematic, and root-cause-oriented governance model for marine waste management.

SeaHi Intelligent Recycling System
Reduce pollution at the source to benefit fishermen and create a win-win situation. The intelligent recycling cabinet for marine waste can collect plastics, metals, oil, and other waste, while also providing online recycling consultation services. It promotes self-delivery and scheduled ship-based recycling. To date, nearly 1,000 tons of plastic and various waste oils have been successfully recovered.

By upgrading or repurposing existing houses and spaces in fishing villages, the system deploys monitoring, integration, weighing, and storage management systems. It supports full data chain collection, traceability platform services, and enables door-to-door and dockside recycling through smart data platforms, covering transactions, settlements, logistics, and warehousing.
SeaHi Recycling Logistics Center
A complete collection, storage, and transfer system for marine waste is established, enabling centralized preprocessing and improved traceability. It enhances waste plastic quality and technological standards, with all data uploaded to a cloud-based smart platform. This provides regulatory bodies with accurate monitoring data and supports better marine waste governance.
The "Ocean Partner" eco-friendly cabin has been featured in international and domestic conferences, including COP28 in Dubai, and reported by major media such as CCTV, Xinhuanet, and China News Network. On August 31, 2024, it was praised by Peng Jiaxue, Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, during an official visit.
In December 2023, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment conducted a special investigation into the project, which attracted over 10,000 offline and 100,000 online visits, boosting local tourism. By promoting marine plastic recycling, the project contributes to the sustainable development of fishing villages.
