Marking a new milestone in marine ecological protection, Topcentral® has earned industry recognition through its innovative practices. We are proud to announce that the "Ocean Partners" Marine Pollution Control Innovation Ecosystem Project, initiated by Ningbo Topcentral New Material Co., Ltd., was recently awarded the "ESG Sustainable Development TOP 15" at the 2025 Argo Award ceremony.

Recently, the 2025 Argo Award ceremony—the premier annual event for China's sustainable business ecosystem—was held grandly in Beijing. The atmosphere was solemn and enthusiastic, bringing together sustainable business pioneers from across the nation. Since its inception in 2017, the Argo Award has accompanied China’s "Business for Good" ecosystem for eight years. Always anchored in sustainable development, the award is dedicated to identifying pioneers in social value innovation. This year’s awards focused specifically on the theme of "Tech for Good," encouraging enterprises to utilize innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and new materials, combined with commercial strategies, to deeply resolve social and environmental challenges.

The 2025 Argo Award attracted nearly 400 applications. The awards invited a jury of 80 experts from various industries. Following a rigorous selection process—including public opinion and background checks, expert material reviews, online due diligence, roadshow evaluations, and a final review by the chairmanship—87 winners were ultimately selected. These winners include social value enterprises, ESG sustainable development case studies, impact investment institutions, investment cases, and academic works. They represent diverse ways of implementing social value and ESG principles across different sectors, collectively outlining a blueprint for a sustainable future.

Topcentral® Recognized as a 2025 "Business for Good" Enterprise

The award ceremony was not only a tribute to the winners but also a concentrated showcase of the achievements within China’s sustainable business ecosystem.

Since its launch in 2023, the "Ocean Partners" project has consistently adhered to the core philosophy of "Technology Empowerment and Ecological Co-governance." It has built a full-chain innovation ecosystem covering marine plastic pollution monitoring, recycling and regeneration, community co-governance, and industrial linkage. As of the third quarter of 2025, the project has covered the Ningbo and Zhoushan regions in Zhejiang, establishing 11 collection points, cumulatively cleaning and converting over 2,000 tons of marine plastic waste, and directly empowering more than a thousand residents in coastal fishing villages.

From its inception, the "Ocean Partners" project has not been an isolated environmental action but a strategic pivot deeply embedded in the company's sustainable development blueprint. The monitoring, traceability, and regeneration technologies developed to tackle marine plastics are feeding back into our core technology pool, sparking new green product lines and solutions. The circular recycling network established by the project is enhancing our control over key recycled materials and supply chain security. It has shaped Topcentral®’s unique "Blue Brand" DNA, providing us with strong appeal and a foundation of trust among customers and partners seeking sustainable collaborations.

Global regulatory trends and consumer preferences are rapidly shifting toward "green." Our investment today is building tomorrow’s "Green Entry Barriers" and "Ecological Cooperation Networks." "Ocean Partners" and the underlying ESG philosophy serve as a powerful magnet to attract, inspire, and retain like-minded top talent. The "Ocean Partners" project demonstrates how Topcentral® systematically addresses complex marine environmental challenges through technological innovation and ecosystem building. Its three-dimensional model of "Technology + Community + Industry" holds significant demonstration value and potential for widespread promotion. This transcends the scope of simple "public welfare" or "environmental protection"; it marks a new phase in Topcentral®’s sustainability journey—moving from "fulfilling responsibility" to "creating value" and "shaping the future." This reminds us that the road to marine protection is long and arduous. According to UN Environment Programme data, approximately 20 million tons of plastic still enter the ocean globally each year, placing continuous pressure on ecosystems. Our work has only just begun.

As pointed out in the opening remarks, 2025 is a critical milestone marking the 10th anniversary of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with only five years remaining until 2030. The advancement of global sustainable development has reached a crucial juncture. Challenges such as climate change, sluggish economic growth, and social imbalances remain severe. Whether a truly sustainable development model has been built concerns not only the continuation of economic growth but also our shared aspiration for a better life.

While the selection for the 2025 Argo Award has officially concluded, the flame of "Business for Good" ignited by the award burns ever brighter. The dialogue between capital and social good continues. From the recycling of waste plastics to inclusive innovation in fintech and the diverse practices of impact investment, the winners of the 2025 Argo Award are turning the philosophy of "Business for Good" into practical action in their own unique ways.
